Important Safety Warnings

The sensor is designed for exactly 15 days of use. After that, it stops working. We are not responsible for damage, improper removal, or misuse.
Not intended for use during pregnancy.
Only for adults and children who have a doctor’s prescription. Not suitable for children under 2 years old.
For children aged 2–12 years: Apply on the belly area.
For ages 12 and older: Apply on the back of the upper arm.
Keep the original packaging and serial number (SN/CN) safe for the full 15 days — you may need it if the app connection is lost.
Do not press “End Session” in the app during the 15-day wear period — this permanently disables the current sensor. Use this button only when starting a new sensor after 15 days.

How to Use the Sinocare CGM – Step-by-Step

Before Applying

Download the iCan CGM app (search “iCan CGM” on Google Play or App Store).
Create an account with your email and complete the initial setup (profile, alert preferences, etc.).
Confirm the sensor and transmitter packages show matching serial numbers (first 8 digits).
Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
Select an insertion site:
- Belly (for ages 2–12)
- Back of upper arm (for ages 12+) Avoid scars, tattoos, bony areas, thick hair, irritated skin, or insulin injection/pump sites (stay at least 7–8 cm away). Rotate sites with each new sensor.
Clean the chosen area with a 75% alcohol swab and let it dry completely (avoid other cleaners).

Applying the Sensor

Follow the pictures in your package, but here is the typical process:

Align the blue mark on the applicator with the corresponding mark on the transmitter tray.
Press the applicator firmly down into the tray until you hear a click (this loads/prepares the sensor).
Turn the safety switch from “Locked” to “Unlocked” (usually counterclockwise) until it clicks — do this only when you’re ready to apply.
Position the applicator over the cleaned skin site. Press the center button firmly until you hear a click or pop (the sensor inserts under the skin).
Pull the applicator straight up and away — the sensor and adhesive patch remain attached to your skin.

After Insertion

Allow a warmup period (usually ~2 hours) before readings begin — the app will notify you.
Press the patch down gently to ensure full adhesion; avoid touching the sticky surface.
Open the app to view live glucose values every 3 minutes, see trends and graphs, receive alerts, and log meals, exercise, or other notes.
